When customizing UM earphones, you can choose the following methods to provide ear prints:
·3D ear print file (STL format)
·Physical ear print
After you provide the ear print, we will permanently save your ear print data. Once customized in UM, your records can be permanently retained for future orders.
What are the requirements for taking ear prints before making customized headphones?
The main requirements for taking ear prints are:
1. Operated by professionals: To ensure safety and accuracy, it is essential to seek experienced technicians for mold removal.
2. When taking the mold, open your mouth slightly:To prevent being too tight when wearing, it is usually recommended to slightly open the mouth or use a mouth opener (about one finger wide) when taking out the mold to simulate the jaw state when wearing headphones.
3. The range of the ear print must be complete: the ear print must include all details of your ear canal, ear nail cavity, etc., and the depth must be sufficient.
4. Qualified and defect free material: The ear print material should be uniform, smooth inside, without bubbles, wrinkles or deformation.
